Create videos that combine still images, narrations, and music in a snap!

Microsoft's Photo Story 3 is a free and easy digital storytelling program for those who don't want to learn advanced video editing. Photo Story 3 is free to those who have a licensced copy of Microsoft Windows.

Use Photo Story 3 to create trailers for individual books, for authors or for genres. Post the presentations on your website, blog, or a wiki about books. Encourage students to use the presentations to help with readers advisory, use them as an occasional alternative to live book talks, or use them as a teaching tool. Students can create their own Photo Stories about their favorite books or authors, or even as a culminating project for an information literacy task.
